I bought this "KY Sensual Mist" for exactly that....a mist. When you think of a mist what do you imagine? The dictionary states..."A very soft, finely diffused spray,a cloudlike aggregation of minute globules of water"..in other words, an application of a liquid into the air that is so light you can barely feel it when sprayed on your skin.
Now imagine that your wife or girlfriend is on the beach laying face down on a towel and she asks you to "mist" her back with some water. Instead of reaching for the spray bottle you reach for the chilled bottle of drinking water in the 16oz. bottle and dump it on her back. She was expecting a mist, as she jumps up slapping your face....you dufus!
I wanted a soft mist of lubricant to be used in a "subtle" way at a time when you don't want to appear obvious when your "manly duties" starts to feel like a walk in the desert in the dry, dusty sand where the lack of moisture causes the vultures to start circling above you knowing any minute you'll be snackfood.
You don't get a mist like the box says...you get an irritating cold SQUIRT of KY that shoots out so fast it actually bounces off your skin and splashes droplets of lube flying everywhere. It assumes room temperature so if it's been sitting in an air conditioned room get ready for a cold stream that will certainly make her jump when you take aim and apply it to her dry, Sahara desert region where the vultures fly around the dried bones of dead animals. It sure is dusty, isn't it?
Look, if they can get margarine to spray into a fine "mist" quite well in fact, why not this KY which is half as dense as margarine? This little bottle retailed for around $10 at the Rite Aid and I bought it expecting a MIST. Gee whiz guys, don't you test them before you market them? You have to cup your hand to shield it from flying everywhere...it's not as subtle as the name implies.
Here's an idea...pour the liquid of this KY Sensual Mist into an empty margarine spray container such as "I can't believe it's not butter" which works GREAT....just make sure your wife doesn't put it back in the refrigerator so your kids don't spray it on their toast the next morning.
Or, you can unscrew the cap and pour it out but then again, that's why it comes in a small bottle with a sprayer....it should be be a light, subtle mist...not a squirt of cold liquid and should do as the name implies...or name it "KY Sensual Squirt" or "KY Sensual Blast". Good lord, those vultures are some ugly creatures, aren't they?
